Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation is a registered charity chaired by Hon. Patrick Muthuri M.C.A. organised in conjunction with the Methodist Church, Kijijone, Meru County, Kenya.
Friends of Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation here in the UK is a registered charity established to raise funds in support of the Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation.
Monies raised by Friends of Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation is for the sole purpose of getting the orphaned, disadvantaged children of Kijijone and Meru off the streets and into Primary School education at the age of 7 until the age of 14 when they sit the Kenyan Certificate Primary Education (KCPE).
Whilst Primary School is free to attend for children aged 7-14 they are required to pay for a school uniform, shoes, food/health plan, sanitary products, sports kit, school books, pencils etc. without which they are not allowed to attend school.
Adoptive parents are often ageing grandparent(s), or next of kin relatives living in extreme poverty. Orphaned children are the poorest of the poor and without the financial support of the Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation they would have no future at all.
Friends of Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation is a Registered Charity 1167082.
Every £1 donated to Friends of Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation goes to help the orphaned children. No administrative costs are deducted.
